Carondelet House, an Italian villa in the middle of Los Angeles
Carondelet House is a stunning venue located on an unassuming block in the middle of Los Angeles. This venue includes a dreamy mix of deep hard wood floors, eclectic decorations and furniture, and hidden outdoor spaces for the perfect romantic moment.
When you step inside this venue, you step out of Los Angeles and into the world of a modern-day Italian villa. You’re greeted by a stunning arched entryway separating two large rooms with familiar oversized armchairs, worn out books, and a Baby Grand piano.

What I loved most about this venue was that each room had a slightly different ambience and style. The Italian villa vibe is most evident with the initial archway as you enter the property. After going under the archway, you move into a beautiful interior courtyard perfect for a first dance.
The ceremony and reception hall has beautiful exposed brick and romantic high beams that can be decorated with drapery, lighting, or greenery for a romantic vibe. There’s a serene second courtyard next to the hall perfect for a quick break from dancing or a private moment between the newlyweds.
Next to the reception hall, there’s a cozy lounge area that’s perfect for guests who want to take a break from dancing and get off their feet. The lounge is complete with an amazing fireplace to keep everyone toasty on colder evenings.
Once you loop around back into the main hallway, head upstairs for a fabulous and spacious getting-ready room. The room’s bright pink color scheme and “girl power” sign create a fun and uplifting vibe.
